What is the Franklin Method?

The Franklin Method uses dynamic imagery, anatomical embodiment and educational skills to create lasting positive change in your body and mind.

The Franklin Method was founded by Eric Franklin in 1994 and is taught all over the world, including the Universities of Vienna, Cologne, Karlsruhe and the Juilliard School in New York. The Franklin Method is recognized by the health providers in Switzerland and is a regularly seen at Dance, Pilates, Yoga and Physiotherapy conferences.

Franklin Method + Yoga

In 2014, Kat began her 150-hour intensive study in New York with Dr. Eric Franklin & Morten Dithmer to become certified as a Level 1 Franklin Method instructor. She sees this as the most powerful scope of her practice so far - understanding the human body and how it was designed to move is essential to teaching and understanding anatomy, especially as it applies to yoga.
